TEMAR Denizcilik was founded in Istanbul in 1997. Our journey, which began with blasting, painting, sanding and maintenance services at shipyards, has grown into being one of Türkiye's most competitive physical suppliers of marine fuels, lubricants and coatings. 1997
Founded in Istanbul
TEMAR was founded in Istanbul as a three-partner company. The early years were spent on blasting, painting, sanding and maintenance services at shipyards.
2009
Entry into the fuel business
The company entered the excise-free fuel business; focus shifted to marine fuel, lubricant and coating sales and supply.
2019
EPDK Bunker Licence
With the bunker licence obtained from EPDK, transit and export-registered sales began.
2019–2021
West Africa operations
Mauritania and Senegal operations; Petrol Ofisi country distributorship for Mauritania and ~13 million LT of operations.
2023
Rise in the sector
Recognised as the breakout bunker company of the year; a growing reference list with supply experience in mega bridge projects.
2026
Today
24/7 physical supply from Rize to Samandağı with its own barge and road tanker fleet; uninterrupted service on two continents.
